Our Candlelit Market doesn’t happen by magic — although by the time the lights are twinkling, the mulled wine is flowing and the market is buzzing, we like it to look as though it does!

We need lots of lovely volunteers to help set up, keep things running or clear away afterwards. You could be directing cars, helping visitors find their way, serving mulled wine, helping to run the tombola or children’s Christmas crafts, supervising our slightly bonkers art challenge — or one of the many other jobs that make the evening work.

No special skills required — just a little time (even one hour) and a willingness to muck in. It’s busy, sociable, usually involves plenty of laughter, and is a great way to be part of our biggest community event of the year.

Come and join the fun — many hands really do make light work (especially at a Candlelit Market!).
